SANTA ANA, Calif. (September 16, 2020) — The Orange County (OC) Human Relations Commission is hosting the “Good Will” program for the second year to spotlight the good works of numerous Orange County enterprises – from one-person operations to large corporations.
Small companies, large businesses, schools, individual philanthropies, faith organizations, community groups, or government enterprises are all eligible to be nominated for this special recognition from the County of Orange. Groups to be publicly honored include those reflecting significant progress in improving human relationships and effective communication in the workplace environment, and minimizing or eliminating bias and discrimination around disability, gender, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, and financial position. The OC Human Relations Commission is particularly interested in acknowledging special programs promoting the health, welfare, and human rights of all Orange County residents.
The application period is now open and will close on October 1, 2020. Nomination criteria and how to apply can be found on the OC Human Relations Commission website at occommunityservices.org/oc-human-relations-commission/latest-news. A list of final award recipients will be posted on the OC Human Relations Commission website, and awardees will receive a Certificate of Recognition from the County of Orange at an upcoming OC Human Relations Commission meeting.
